Larsa Pippen, Marcus Jordan officially announce romance on Instagram
Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan are officially official Instagram users.
The star of “Real Housewives of Miami.” posted a photo with the son of basketball player Michael Jordan on Monday, making sure he has a permanent spot on her grid.
“✔️Checks over stripes🏆@trophyroomstore,” she captioned a snap of lovebirds at Jordan’s family boutique, posing in front of a giant flower arrangement shaped like Michael’s iconic number 23 T-shirt.
While the photo itself expressed Larsa’s loyalty to her ex-husband’s nemesis Scottie Pippen, the caption did as well – with “checks” referring to Nike (with whom the Jordans are affiliated) and “stripes” denoting the athletic shoe retailer’s biggest competitor: Adidas.
For the outing, the 48-year-old Bravolebrity chose distressed denim mini shorts, which she paired with a long-sleeved black mesh bodysuit that showed off her curves.
The mother-of-four completed her look with oversized sunglasses and sneakers.
Marcus, for his part, donned patterned red pants, a black T-shirt, a black baseball cap, and black sneakers.
The 32-year-old’s most noticeable addition, however, was Larsa – making sure he put his arm around her shoulder and intertwined her hand.
Before the brunette’s last upload, the former college athlete had only ever had she appeared via her Instagram Storywhich included a screenshot of her phone’s background: a photo of a couple sharing a kiss.
Despite their limited social media posts about each other, the pair have been spotted together on numerous occasions since dating rumors first began in September 2022.
Recently, Page Six obtained exclusive photos of a couple packing up their PDAs in front of a posh hotel in South Beach.
Although paparazzi have photographed the two looking quite cozy on various outings, Larsa maintains that they are just buddies getting to know each other.
“We’ve been friends for a few years now and I’m now at a point where I’m finally open to dating,” she told us last month. “Every time I’m seen with someone, [people] pretend to be more than it really is, and usually it is nothing.
She added: “So yeah, I’m just dating now and focusing on my businesses, family and fun.”
Representatives for the jewelry designer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
As for her, her shared history with Marcus, Scottie and Michael were longtime teammates in the 90s.
However, NBA legends had a very public fight thanks in large part to ESPN’s 2020 docuseries “The Last Dance.”
