If you’re hoping one day Bravo superfan Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi will join the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, don’t hold your breath.
Andy Cohen explained why we’ll probably never see the ‘Jersey Shore’ queen holding a diamond as they settled their alleged ‘dispute’ on Monday’s episode of his SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” radio show.
The couple’s “public war” began last year when Cohen said he would not be casting Snooki in “RHONJ.”
“You were a bit sarcastic so I had to come back,” she explained.
“I said, ‘I don’t see it.’ Normal. I thought, “I don’t see it at all.” Always,” Cohen said of Snookie joining the franchise. “Here’s why I said it: I see you as one of the faces of MTV and the face of ‘Jersey Shore.’”
“For me, it’s like putting Mickey Mouse in a Bugs Bunny cartoon,” he added. “It’s too different. You know what I mean?”
The reality TV star said she was “not angry” about Cohen’s statement, but added it was his tone that confused her.
“I just didn’t like your little, ‘No, I’m good,’” she added, to which Cohen replied, “This is where I’m going too far.”
The couple then set the beef aside, with Cohen confirming that they were “not at war anymore.”
Snooki previously told Page Six that she didn’t think she could “hang out” with any “housewives” because she “hates drama.”
“I’m terrified because some of these girls… fall into it,” she told us exclusively. “Even though I’m on a reality show, I hate drama. I like a positive attitude and I like to just have fun and go home. I just feel like it would be wild.
Polizzi made her reality TV debut in 2009 with the original “Jersey Shore”.
In September 2020, it was rumored that Bravo had spotted the MTV show as a potential “real housewife” from New Jersey.
However, Snooki immediately denied these rumors, write on Instagram“I don’t know how it started, but I wasn’t asked to be a housewife. Sowwyyyyy.”
