This week in the Big Brother Titans house, four different housemate teams have been put up for potential elimination from the competition. After the Blaqleng duo of Blaqboi and Ilepeng triumphed in the head of house games, all of the housemate pairs were ushered into the diary room to submit their nominations. The process of nomination proceeded like this.

Veto Power

After the nomination process, the winner of the Head of Household competition, Blaqleng, consisted of Blaqboi and Ipeleng, and they were asked to use their veto power in order to rescue one pair of housemates and replace them with another. Juiovla was brought in to take the place of Ebubu and Tsatsii, the Royals, who were saved (Juicy Jay and Olivia).

 

There are three ways to vote for your favourite Big Brother Titans housemate: on the mobile site, via the website, and by using the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps. Not all options apply to all subscribers, and there is some registration to go through, so read on to find out what you need to bear in mind.

Website and mobile registration

 

 

Voting on the website and mobile site is available to anyone living in one of the following countries:

South Africa, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Cote D’Ivoire, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Sao Tome & Principe, Senegal, Togo, Burundi, Rwanda, Djibouti, Eritrea, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Mauritius, Angola, Mozambique, Eswatini

Before being allowed to vote via the web or mobile, you will need to register with your full name, year of birth, gender, location, and mobile number. You can register before voting is open or during a voting round.

To register:

  1. Visit dstv.com/bigbrothertitans
  2. Click on the “vote” menu item
  3. Click on “Register” and enter your details in the relevant fields, and choose a password
  4. You will receive a One Time Pin (OTP) via SMS
  5. Enter the OTP where prompted.

Website and mobile voting

 

 

Once registration is complete, you will be able to vote during open voting periods. To do this:

  1. Visit dstv.com/bigbrothertitans
  2. Click on the “vote” menu item
  3. Click on “sign in” and enter your mobile number
  4. Enter your chosen password
  5. Select a housemate
  6. Enter the number of votes you wish to give that housemate and cast your vote by clicking “vote”.

Website and mobile voting are limited to 100 votes per user. You may assign those votes however you wish. You can give them all to one housemate, or you can share them out to multiple housemates. It’s your call. That’s why they’re called “your votes”.

Voting on the website and on mobile is free, but you will need to pay for any data you consume while voting.

Voting with the MyDStv or the GOtv apps
Voting with either the MyDStv or GOtv apps are available to active subscribers with eligible packages in selected countries only. South Africans can only use the MyDStv app, while subscribers in the following countries can use either app depending on their subscription:
